When soak­ing flo­ral foam (shown above), fill a buck­et or sink with water. Add the prop­er amount of flo­ral food to the water. Drop the foam in the water and let it sink on its own. Do not force the foam into the water — this might cause air pock­ets in the foam and then your stems won’t have any water to drink.
