Slow Flowers Journal: The Best of Slow Flowers Journal from the Pages of Florists’ Review (2017–2019)
We love the Slow Flowers Journal and its founder and creator Debra Prinzing, the doyenne of locally grown flowers. Last year, she published a book of her best Slow Flowers Journal articles that appear in Florists’ Review magazine each issue. If you are interested in the current trends in floral design, but missed out on the Florists’ Review series, this book is a perfect addition to your library.
What We Think
The photography is superb.
The writing is congenial and intimate.
The subjects are inviting and inspiring.

About Debra Prinzing, the Author
We’ve know Debra Prinzing personally since inviting her to our studio during her book tour for Slow Flowers. Since then, we collaborated with her at the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show, Field to Vase Dinner in Carlsbad, California and at her 2nd Annual Slow Flowers Summit in Washington, D.C..
If you want to learn more about the Slow Flowers Movement which encourages consumers to purchase flowers from locally grown resources, consider attending the Slow Flowers Summit at Filoli this summer. Kit and Casey are planning to attend and are looking forward to getting inspired by so many talented and wonderful florists and farmers in the industry.
