About Us:
Flower Duet is a full-service Los Angeles based florist and floral event company created and run by two sisters based. From 1999 when they founded Flower Duet out of small design studios to 2010 when they opened up a warehouse location in Torrance, partners Kit Coleman Wertz & Casey Coleman Schwartz had a mission to not only create beautiful bouquets and floral designs for their clients but to also “take the mystery out of floral arranging” for students of all ages from little kids to older floral enthusiasts. Kit and Casey have been long-time instructors for the venerable Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California, American Grown Flowers Field to Vase Dinner Designers, Slow Flowers Summit Speakers and frequent guest speakers for many groups. They continue to offer floral design instruction for all audiences with over 260 courses in their premium online school as well as in-person instruction at their studio and in private settings with a focus on where to purchase locally grown flowers and design sustainably.
