Flower Duet Designs for 2019 Sunset Idea House
Flower Duet was asked to be the floral design team for the annual Sunset Idea House. The storied magazine was sponsoring a house design in Santa Monica this year so we we delighted to work with the talented group of editors and interior design firm so close to our studio in Los Angeles.
After a teleconference call, we met with the team when the house was almost complete to get a feel for the scale of the rooms, then we worked on a mood board with vases, containers, flowers and plants to present to the team.
On the day of the photo shoot for the magazine, Kit was on-hand to help add to or offer new designs for each room. It was important that we brought all of the designs pre-made for the team to place the day before the shoot…then be on-hand for the entire shoot.
