November 19, 2022 — Tablescape & Thanksgiving Autumn Arranging with China Chrysanthemum Class
The Chrysanthemum was the official flower for many a Chinese Emperor in dynasties past. Learn about the wonderful healing quality of this flower and its surrounding myths. We’ll use lots of fall flowers, foliage and roses as well as the fall-colored disbud mums in this quintessential fall floral design class perfect for your Thanksgiving table. Flower Duet will also show students how to “arrange” a table into the perfect tablescape.
December 3, 2022 — Holiday Handmade English Wreath Class
Queen Victoria is to thank for our modern day Christmas decorations and we’ll learn how to make a fresh evergreen wreath in an English fashion. Wreaths are not only for Christmas though, they have been used for centuries to celebrate life and why not also celebrate the coming Winter Solstice when the days start to get longer, too! Learn about traditions in England surrounding the holiday season and how to decorate like a Queen.

November 5, 2022 — Desert Fall Flower Class
Inspired by the Desert Garden at The Huntington, this hands-on class by Flower Duet combines succulents and seasonal flowers to create floral arrangements of deep purples and rich fall tones. All supplies and materials included. This workshop will be held outdoors at The Huntington, so please dress accordingly. Registration includes free admission to The Huntington.
December 10, 2022 — California Holiday (tickets go on sale about 5 weeks prior to date)
Create a beautiful holiday floral design with rich blues tones with red roses, berries, mixed evergreens and local California greenery in this festive class featuring an elegant vase and long lasting flowers. Each attendee will learn about native greenery as well as how to prolong the life of evergreens over the season.
