Love Aeriums by Flower Duet

Love Aeriums feature two types of air plants or tillandsias.

In a lovely article by Debra Prinzing, of Slow Flowers fame, Kit & Casey’s business was featured in the Los Angeles Times for an alternative to a dozen red roses for Valentine’s Day. Sine our main business consists of event florals for parties and weddings and also teaching the art of floral design, we always joke that we “don’t do Valentine’s Day.” However, every year, we have our share of “red rose” designs for favorite clients. This year, Debra asked us if we had something different to offer and we said of course! Sourcing our Tillandsia or “air plants” from a local grower within a few miles from our studio, our Valentine’s Day Love Aeriums qualify as “Slow Flowers.” Anything that is sourced from within 100 miles of your business is considered “slow” whether it’s food, flowers or plants!
