As long­time AAA Club mem­bers in South­ern Cal­i­for­nia, Casey and I were delight­ed to be con­tact­ed last Fall to be inter­viewed for a mag­a­zine arti­cle for the Auto Club’s sig­na­ture mag­a­zine, West­ways. I’ve per­son­al­ly always loved read­ing each issue to find out what is going on close to home and also what sort of trips we could take in the future through their trav­el ser­vice. Back in the days before Google Maps, we had tons of AAA maps in our glove box­es for all our road trips!

The most recent issue start­ed appear­ing in our friends’ mail­box­es yes­ter­day and we’ve been get­ting love­ly text mes­sages and emails from friends who have seen the arti­cle. It’s almost like being fea­tured in the home­town news­pa­per that every­one still reads! As we had still not received our copy yet, I went to our local AAA office and picked up a copy!
