The Tor­rance Area Cham­ber of Com­merce is excit­ed to host the annu­al Women of Influ­ence event, sched­uled for March 6, 2025, at Sun­rid­er Inter­na­tion­al, begin­ning at 12:00 noon.

This event high­lights the extra­or­di­nary achieve­ments and lead­er­ship of women in the Tor­rance area, rec­og­niz­ing their sig­nif­i­cant impact on busi­ness and com­mu­ni­ty life.

2025 Awardees for the Women of Influence

The 2025 hon­orees include Sis­ter Ter­rence Lan­di­ni from Prov­i­dence Lit­tle Com­pa­ny of Mary for the Athena Award and Sacha Dun­can for the Com­mu­ni­ty Cat­a­lyst Award.

The Ded­i­cat­ed Leader Award will go to Kim Turn­er from the City of Tor­rance Tran­sit Cen­ter and the Inspi­ra­tional Leader Award will be hon­ored onto Athena Paque­tte Cormi­er from Mort­gage Advisor.

Kit Wertz and Casey Schwartz from Flower Duet will receive the Small Busi­ness Award and the South Bay Spir­it Award will be giv­en to Bel­ma Demirovic Chin­choy from Immi­gra­tion Gen­er­al Counsel.
