We were pleased to find out that one of the weddings we did last year was featured in a cool UK-based magazine called Rock N Roll Bride. In a feature from June 2025 called, For the Love of Music (and Each Other): A Musicians’ Wedding at LA’s El Rey Theatre, reporter Kat outlined the event that was full of love and music. We love that this wedding was inspired by music since our business name — Flower Duet — is from an aria from opera composer Delibe (Lakmé). We are so excited to feature music, songs and lyrics as our inspiration for all our group flower classes for 2026!

Flower Duet was pleased to find out that one of the weddings where we did the bouquets, ceremony pieces and centerpieces was featured in a cool UK-based magazine called Rock N Roll Bride. In a feature from June 2025 called, For the Love of Music (and Each Other): A Musicians’ Wedding at LA’s El Rey Theatre, reporter Kat outlined the event that was full of love and music. This is fitting for Flower Duet since our business name is from an aria from an opera (Lakmé by Delibes) and in 2026, we are featuring music as our inspiration for all our group flower classes!
We love when our work is featured in the press because we often get to hear more about the event after all our hard work has been installed. There is so much build up in meeting with a couple before their wedding and it’s so rewarding to see how the flowers were used during the big celebration.

For their music-themed wedding at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, musicians Danica and Nick featured colorful floral arrangements designed by our team These arrangements were placed on the venue’s stage alongside musical instruments, reflecting the couple’s careers. The wedding proceeded despite devastating local fires, serving as a point of celebration. You can read the full article at Rock N Roll Bride.
The historic Art Deco setting inspired us to create a vibrant and dramatic floral design for Danica and Nick’s wedding, complementing the venue’s theatrical atmosphere. Flower Duet designed arrangements to frame the couple on the elevated stage and used a colorful palette to contrast with the theatre’s plush red accents and dark interior, ensuring the blooms stood out under dramatic lighting.
