We were pleased to find out that one of the wed­dings we did last year was fea­tured in a cool UK-based mag­a­zine called Rock N Roll Bride. In a fea­ture from June 2025 called, For the Love of Music (and Each Oth­er): A Musi­cians’ Wed­ding at LA’s El Rey The­atre, reporter Kat out­lined the event that was full of love and music. We love that this wed­ding was inspired by music since our busi­ness name — Flower Duet — is from an aria from opera com­pos­er Delibe (Lak­mé). We are so excit­ed to fea­ture music, songs and lyrics as our inspi­ra­tion for all our group flower class­es for 2026!

This is fit­ting for Flower Duet since our busi­ness name is from an aria from an opera (Lak­mé by Delibes) and in 2026, we are fea­tur­ing music as our inspi­ra­tion for all our group flower classes!

We love when our work is fea­tured in the press because we often get to hear more about the event after all our hard work has been installed. There is so much build up in meet­ing with a cou­ple before their wed­ding and it’s so reward­ing to see how the flow­ers were used dur­ing the big celebration.

Flower Duet work at The El Rey

For their music-themed wed­ding at the El Rey The­atre in Los Ange­les, musi­cians Dan­i­ca and Nick fea­tured col­or­ful flo­ral arrange­ments designed by our team These arrange­ments were placed on the venue’s stage along­side musi­cal instru­ments, reflect­ing the cou­ple’s careers. The wed­ding pro­ceed­ed despite dev­as­tat­ing local fires, serv­ing as a point of cel­e­bra­tion. You can read the full arti­cle at Rock N Roll Bride.

The his­toric Art Deco set­ting inspired us to cre­ate a vibrant and dra­mat­ic flo­ral design for Dan­i­ca and Nick­’s wed­ding, com­ple­ment­ing the venue’s the­atri­cal atmos­phere. Flower Duet designed arrange­ments to frame the cou­ple on the ele­vat­ed stage and used a col­or­ful palette to con­trast with the the­atre’s plush red accents and dark inte­ri­or, ensur­ing the blooms stood out under dra­mat­ic lighting.
