On June 2nd, I set up a wed­ding on my own in Dana Point at the Monarch Beach Resort. What a gor­geous location!!!! 
 
As you can see, the flo­ral theme includ­ed hydrangea and orchids. This gaze­bo in the botan­i­cal gar­den on the resort prop­er­ty was over 7 feet high, so I had to bring my own lad­der to attach my flo­ral dec­o­ra­tions to the struc­ture. This was tough to install on my own, but I have a few florist tricks up my sleeve!
 
Some advice for you new flo­ral design­ers: Be sure to call ahead to the cater­ing man­ag­er and find out if you need to bring your own lad­der and where you can park. These resorts are HUGE! There were a lot of logis­tics involved with this wed­ding, so be pre­pared! Enjoy the pho­tos of the cer­e­mo­ny loca­tion and the wine cel­lar recep­tion location.
