Flower Duet was asked to par­tic­i­pate in Earth Day cel­e­bra­tions at Mat­tel’s head­quar­ters in El Segun­do this year and so we made a suc­cu­lent cen­ter­piece with local­ly grown flow­ers to high­light sus­tain­abil­i­ty in the flo­ral indus­try. This was a give­away for employ­ees to enter and win it dur­ing their lunch hour.  Bar­bie did not make an appear­ance, but Kit was on hand to answer flower ques­tions and more for all the employ­ees who stopped by her table.
