There is noth­ing that says sum­mer bet­ter than bright trop­i­cal flowers.

I was delight­ed to make three of these long, low cen­ter­pieces for my friend Jil­l’s birth­day par­ty this past week­end. The dress she picked to wear for the cel­e­bra­tion was her inspi­ra­tion, which we were able to mim­ic with the flow­ers. The venue was a great spot for this event as Jill, her friends and the flow­ers enjoyed being seat­ed at the love­ly Baleen restau­rant, at the Hotel Portofi­no in Redon­do Beach.
