After we’ve put the colorful holiday decorations away, it’s nice to take a break from all that vibrancy and start the new year with a fresh green and white palette.
We are teaching two classes this January which will feature White Flowers.
Shown above is a plethora of white ranunculus blooms paired with white hydrangea. These blooms are available now, in the beginning of winter even though they have been traditionally spring and summer blooms.
Roses, Lisianthus, Berzillia berries and Bupleurum look fantastic in this formal design for winter.
Paperwhite bulbs (Narcissus papyraceus) can be forced to grown indoors during winter. They are popular gifts during the holiday season, so it’s a great way to bring a wonderful scent and look to your wintery home. Photo by Wikipedia.
