White House Florist Named for 2015

It was reported by the Washington Post last week that the White House has named a new Chief Floral Designer after many months of searching to replace former designer, Laura Dowling.

Hedieh Ghaffarian, an Iranian-born immigrant who was raised in California and built a successful floral design business, will become the next chief White House florist, the office of the first lady, Michelle Obama, announced on Thursday.
