New Fall Classes at The Huntington Library November & December 2024

Huntington Library Flower Arranging Classes Update

We were so hap­py to have two sold-out class­es in Sep­tem­ber and two sold-out class­es in Octo­ber at The Hunt­ing­ton Library in San Mari­no, Calif. and are pleased to announce you can reserve your spot in one of two Novem­ber class­es com­ing up on Sat­ur­day, Novem­ber 9, 2024 now. We will also hold four class­es in December!

Reserve spots through The Huntington

The morn­ing class if for folks aged 13+ to do their own arrange­ment and the after­noon class is fam­i­ly friend­ly, where any­one 7+ can work on one arrange­ment with a part­ner — or — they can do their own arrangement.

The Novem­ber art of flo­ral design class­es at The Hunt­ing­ton Library will fea­ture creamy ros­es, lots of lush ferns and dried ele­ments inspired by the lily ponds and con­ser­va­to­ry of The Huntington.

December Classes at The Huntington

We’ll be offer­ing two more themed class­es in 2024 at The Hunt­ing­ton to help ring in the hol­i­day sea­son. Reser­va­tions for these class­es will be live at least four weeks before each class but could go live in ear­ly Novem­ber. Ever­green Door Swag Class — For those of you who love to have the home filled with fresh ever­green dec­o­ra­tions, we are offer­ing a mixed ever­green + fresh flo­ral swag class that can be dis­played on a door, wall or at the base of a stair­case. This class will be on Decem­ber 14, 2024 and held in the Ahman­son class­room near the Chil­dren’s Garden.

This is the inspi­ra­tion. Stu­den­t’s designs will be slight­ly dif­fer­ent from this design as they will fea­ture fresh flow­ers, too!

Win­ter Sol­stice Cen­ter­piece Class

On Decem­ber 21, 2024 — the day of Win­ter Sol­stice (Kit’s favorite day of the year) we’ll hold anoth­er class at The Hunt­ing­ton. This is a great oppor­tu­ni­ty to come make a cen­ter­piece design with your rel­a­tives who are in town to cel­e­brate! Stu­dents will learn to make a fes­tive and fresh win­ter hol­i­day cen­ter­piece fea­tur­ing mixed ever­greens, creamy-col­ored ros­es, sea­son­al flow­ers, mag­no­lia leaves, and pinecones.

Come to The Hunt­ing­ton on Decem­ber 21, 2024 and learn to make a Win­ter Sol­stice Design — reser­va­tions required through The Hunt­ing­ton Website.
