Free Online Flower Class

We are sad to hear about the passing of Her Majesty, The Queen Elizabeth II. In honor of her passing, we created an online flower class course that teaches you how to make a floral design based on a photo take of QE2 in her palace by the famed American photographer, Annie Leibovitz.

What thought we’d find out what the Queen’s favorite flowers were and believe it or not, she never revealed it. However, it is believed that while she loved all the flowers in all of her palace and castle gardens, her favorite flowers were Carnations! She had them at her wedding reception in all the centerpieces and her husband, Prince Philip was reported to give her bouquets of Carnations on their anniversary.

Queen Elizabeth II Roses

But, for this class, we are featuring roses, because that is the flower featured in the photo by Annie Leibovitz. The trick here is the design is in “V” shape. Most of them time, floral arrangements are in an inverted “V” shape or triangle shape. We show you how to use a florist trick to make sure the roses stay in their correct spaces in the vase.

You can try this class for FREE and sample one of the over 23o classes in our Flower Arranging Fridays online class subscription membership.
