Orange flow­ers work won­ders in group gath­er­ings when you want to reach a con­sen­sus. In fact, Casey’s favorite flower is a rose called ‘Free Spir­it’, pri­mar­i­ly an orange-col­ored rose. It has lots of ener­gy, smells great, and opens beau­ti­ful­ly. It also lasts a long time in a vase!

We all know that orange has an inter­est­ing rep­u­ta­tion as a col­or. When asked what the col­or orange means, many will say “safe­ty” as in “vest” or “road con­struc­tion cones and signs.” We enlight­en clients to con­sid­er orange for flower designs if they are try­ing to reach a con­sen­sus, a gen­er­al agree­ment, or have a deci­sion-mak­ing process for their events or meetings.

In this design, we took a “mock-cracked” ter­ra­cot­ta (orange) con­tain­er, lined it with a vase, and added over 40 stems of orange spray ros­es for this lush mono­chro­mat­ic orange design.
